SAV Interface enables users of a wide range of standalone third-party applications to benefit from high-speed integration with the Sophos virus detection engine, seamlessly protecting businesses at the gateway.

All traffic entering or leaving through the third-party application, including attachments compressed with Zip and other popular utilities, is checked for viruses, spyware, Trojans and worms. Infected attachments are disinfected, deleted or quarantined.
Real-time monitoring
Compliant gateway applications can monitor email, web and FTP traffic in real time.
Automatic updates
The latest software and virus detection updates are automatically downloaded through our updating application, EM Library.
Scanning speed
Scanning is 20-30 times quicker than traditional command-line virus scanners.
